ReadSelah is a focused workspace for reading Scripture, comparing translations, and preserving passage-linked notes. Supporting tools stay connected to the passage instead of replacing it.
Study principles
Scripture remains primary
Reading, comparison, and annotation begin with the selected passage. Supporting tools are arranged around that text so commentary, cross-references, and AI assistance do not silently replace the source being studied.
Sources stay visible
Bible translations are registered with their name, provider, license status, and copyright notice. The public reader begins with Young's Literal Translation, a public-domain English Bible; provider restrictions remain separate from the study interface.
AI is an aid, not an authority
AI responses are experimental study support. They should remain grounded in the selected passage, distinguish interpretation from quotation, make uncertainty visible, and invite verification with Scripture, reliable resources, community, and trusted teachers.
Personal study data stays personal
Notes, highlights, bookmarks, and reading history are personal workspace features rather than public publishing pages. Private routes are excluded from the search index. ReadSelah is a beta project created by @postsoma-2050.
